WMATA - Washington Metro Area Transit Authority
Altitude Consulting was brought on board to provide HCM/Payroll Production and System support. Our consultants were responsible for technical support of Time and Labor, Payroll, and HCM applications; Troubleshooting of production issues related to Weekly (Hourly) and Bi-Weekly (Salaried) payroll processes. Developed automated method to initiate Union Dues deductions. Analysis of performance issues in TL_TIMEADMIN process.
Legg Mason Global Asset Management
Our consultans provided Production and System support, PS Upgrade Technical Leadership. Altitude Consulting was responsible for administering Application servers and Process Scheduler in Development, Test, and QA environments.
Applied PeopleSoft Payroll Tax patches 05-E, 05-F, 06-A. Using People Code and People Tools customized Legg Mason Self Services Employee Benefit Enrollment application. Traced PeopleSoft delivered Cobol processes when troubleshooting payroll production problems. Provided guidance and technical support in development of Application Engine outbound and inbound Benefits and Payroll interfaces. Developed Unix shell scripts for processing inbound and outbound vendor files. Maintained heavily customized General Ledger interface program.
Participated in Fit-Gap analysis for People Soft 8.3 to 8.9 (Tools 8.47) Upgrade. Created and analyzed PS Upgrade compare reports. Re-applied customizations (Application Engines, Pages, Menus, People Code, Permission Lists) to PS 8.9 vanilla application.
Marriott International, Inc
Our role: PeopleSoft Technical Development, Production Support
Designed and implemented Component Interface and Application Engine based process for loading employee actions into People Soft HRMS system. Wrote complex People Code to handle data validation and manipulation. Utilized People Tools 8.4 to design and develop Supervisor ID maintenance application accessible through Marriott HRMS Portal.
Utilized PeopleSoft NVision reporting tool, extension of Microsoft Excel to generate PeopleSoft reports and produce them in Microsoft Excel format. On the project of global update of associates' Supervisor IDs, created approximately 30 PeopleSoft queries designed to assist users in analysis of data and project progress. Designed PeopleSoft NVision driven query for associate Microsoft Word mail merge.
Used Marriott Call Center and System Change Siebel application for logging and tracking System Requests and Activities. Implemented PS Query and SQR processes intended to assist HR in conversion of Ritz-Carlton Payroll system (RCPAY) into Marriott Payroll (MARPAY). Designed ad-hoc PS Queries and SQR Reports for HR Users. Developed and implemented numerous SQL/SQR reports and processes for data manipulation and validation.
US Department of Labor
Altitude Consulting was brought on board to assist with PeopleSoft Technical Development and Payroll Interface Implementation
We were responsible for full life cycle support of Payroll Interface implementation. Provided complete Fit-Gap analysis for converting Department of Labor Office of Chief Financial Officer from PeopleSoft internal Payroll to NFC. Lead a team of developers in designing and implementing changes essential for submitting Personnel, Payroll, Tax, and Benefits data from DOL to NFC. Actively participated in Level of Effort analysis of various phases of project. Designed internal PeopleSoft application for tracking NFC-generated inbound flow of information. Made multiple PeopleCode, SQR, Pages, and Components changes necessary for Payroll Interface implementation. Implemented People Code driven edits to ensure high quality of data for NFC conversion.
Designed ad-hoc SQR and NVision Crystal reports to track project progress. Developed PL/SQL Stored procedures to analyze Payroll Interface inbound and outbound files.
Northrop Grumman IT, Department of the US Treasury
Our Role: PeopleSoft Technical Development and Analysis.
Actively participated in technical analysis and implementation of US Treasury's HRMS PeopleSoft upgrade from PeopleTools version 7.61 to 8.3. Developed and maintained applications in a 'd' Tools 8.15/Application 7.5 environment. Designed and supported complex Component Interface driven applications.
Provided technical leadership for Production Support team; Responsible for technical support and development on the project of converting multiple Treasury bureaus into the existing Oracle based PeopleSoft HRMS and Payroll system.
Designed and developed Employee and Manager Self Service applications for US Treasury HR Connect system in both PeopleTools 8.1 and 8.3. Participated in merging the Comptroller of the Currency PeopleSoft HR system into the Department of the Treasury HRMS application. Redesigned and implemented nightly SQR process of taking system wide employee level data snapshots. Converted and designed 51 complex Financials and HR views from Microsoft SQL Server into the Oracle environment. Created flexible data and template driven nightly process for capturing Comptroller of the Currency Financials and HR data. Designed a number of Data Mover scripts for converting OCC specific Personal, Job, Department, and Account Codes data. Provided analysis and technical support in designing secure data access for bureaus' reporting database. Implemented numerous ad-hoc reports as well as panel driven SQR processes.
To ensure successful implementation worked closely with other team members, QAT, UAT and the Database Administrators. Actively participated in the after implementation support of OCC system.
Provided technical assistance, designed and implemented multiple Data Mover scripts for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center PeopleSoft conversion.
Managed a team of 5 developers in working on solving HR and Payroll Interface related technical and functional issues. Modified existing and developed new PeopleCode for processing personal level actions. Designed and implemented new Cobol stored procedures for processing NFC (National Finance Center) Payroll Interface. Altered custom and PeopleSoft delivered inbound and outbound Payroll SQR and Cobol processes.
